| Posted: | | | | Hi, I have just bought a Thaï movie and I realized that Thaï was not one of the avilable languages in the "Audio" section. Is there a way we can add a language to the database?
Thanks! Fred |

| Posted: | | | | It's been asked for many times before. We can only hope that Ken is adding it (and others) in the upcoming 3.5 version of the program... | | | Corey |

Thanks! Fred If you want a language that is not in the list, you can use a translation file. Go to tools>options>system>language>edit (or new), and you "translate" a language that you do not use with another (for example change French to whatever you want). But after that, you can no more contribute this field of concerned profiles. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

| Posted: | | | | There's no "Singapore" Audio and "Romania" Audio is already there. Anyway, I would "translate" Arabic or Tagalog to Thai if I needed it. | | | Martin Zuidervliet

Anyway, I would "translate" Arabic or Tagalog to Thai if I needed it. There's no "Romania" in the audio language list...it's Romanian. And as Skip has already astutely indicated, Singapore is a country whose language is Chinese. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

It's been asked for many times, and is one post with the request. Please, continued in the old post and close the new: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=160877&PageNum=8 Go to tools>options>system>language>edit (or new), and you "translate" a language that you do not use with another (for example change French to whatever you want).Don't do it. Could be created a problems with contributions. |

Skip Well, then you go there and try to understand what they are saying Seriously, there is something called "Singlish", which I believe is a dialect mixture of English and Chinese. I am not sure how much of a relevance it has for DVD Profiler though, as I think most films are made in English and/or Chinese for marketing purposes... | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Same here in California Achim...only it's called Spanglish. Being a fluent Spanish speaker (Castillian) I often find it amusing to hear both languages being butchered simultaneously . | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | Singapore is a city at the very southern tip of the Malay peninsula. The native language spoken in Singapore is Malaysian. The language "Thai" is spoken in Thailand but hundreds of thousands of people in Singapore speak and understand "Thai". China has numerous Chinese dialects, but the main two spoken languages throughout China is mainly Mandarin or Cantonese. |

Trivia question: name the film (or films) where Klingon is needed as an option for subtitle language. |

Within a few days after I read your post about "Singlish" there was an article in the news about Singapore that referred to Singlish. What a coincidence. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges?
