Today the View as List is acctually "View as Tree" if you think about it. Hence the icon for it is wrong and should display in form of a tree instead.

That said, I thought of "What if 1 additional table was added" a true View as List. A fourth option to the Collection List.

So today we have:
- View as List (which as I said is acctually View as Tree).
- View as Detail
- View as Thumbnails

Tomorrow we might have:
- View as List
- View as Tree
- View as Detail
- View as Thumbnails

The difference between View as List and View as Tree would be that the collection list would be a true list and the View as Tree would be what View as List is today.

In my opinion, this would solve all kinds of sort problems people have with the tree view today AND it would add value to the program.
