| Posted: | | | | All that are affected by this bug probably can't read this. But if you are the one who is asked if somebodies computer is f*** up, here is the workaround | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Thanks, this probably explains my dad's tech support call yesterday.
His internet access went away after a Windows Update but he managed to get it back by uninstalling the patch.
Edit: and in the hour since i forwarded the link i found it impacted my brother, my cousin and best friend! | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! | | | Last edited: by tweeter |

| Posted: | | | | Iam in a software compagnie and we have over 50 PC with zone alarm, and none have that problem after this update.
Maybe it a configuration that cause the problem? |

Maybe it a configuration that cause the problem? Or maybe just the free version...? (I suspect your company uses the full product). | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

According to Zonelabs all versions were affected because ZA couldn't deal with the new DNS-assignment (random port instead of static port). If the firewall was set to medium settings the fault didn't occur. The fault is patched already | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
