The 40GB is not backwards compatible for $399. The 40GB doesn't have media card readers, SACD capabilities, or 2 extra USB ports either. I do believe they will have a PS2 software emulator (not partial like in the current 80GB...60GB in Europe) at a later point in time just like PS1 emulation in the 40GB PS3. | | | To err is human... ----------- 473 Blu-ray Titles |
