| Posted: | | | | I am a retired Father of two handicapped children. My Budget is so tight, until recently I couldn't even afford the full version of this software. Most people with kids have a co-pay or two at most a month for their kids? Try up to twenty, and specialized ones at that. (Larger Co-pays) No complaints here - but since I got the full version? I am amazed at the quality, and yes, I got the full version of the Mobile Version too! I have a Huge Blu-ray and regular DVD Collection - Over 5,000 - I have started entering 1st just the Blu-ray's, and now I am beginning the regular DVD's too. I actually have no requests for features, I just want to compliment the hard work of the coders of this Software.
One thing - I uploaded a Layout. I called it Brian's Default, and it is a Dual Monitor, High Res Layout. If you look at the screen shot, you will see that I have made room for the "Collection Gallery" to run on the bottom right corner of monitor Two. I saved it, but every time I run it, I have to manually click on the Gallery to make it run...
Could we make an "Option" that allows us to save that feature, like the others, to come up by Default?
That is all. You Guys are amazing! |

I have a Huge Blu-ray and regular DVD Collection - Over 5,000... You have 5,000 DVDs but can't afford a $30 piece of software? --------------- |

--------------- meerupps did even better: he purchased both DVD Profilers | | | Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions. |

As for the feature request, your screen shot didn't work, but you're right - the Collection Gallery isn't classed as part of the layout, even though it appears in the preview window (if you click all windows). It sounds more like a bug to me rather than a missing feature: I don't even think it should be an option - if you save your layout with it open, it should re-open next time you run the program. |

| Posted: | | | | I am Sorry to the people that I didn't make it clear to -
I was FINE financially until the Birth of my TWO Handicapped Children.
Yes, I am insured, but have Twenty to Thirty Co-pays a MONTH now.
To the few insensitive people that have an issue with that?
My Son was born with half a face. Severe Unilateral Cleft Lip / Palate with the hole going to his Brain. His Sister was born with Severe Down Syndrome. For those that think it doesn't affect you financially? Think again. But Thanks for reading my whole post.
Oh, and I do save the layout with it open. But have to re-open every time. (Not a Big Deal)
Oh, and guys? MOST of the 5,000+ DVD's were bought BEFORE my handicapped kids were born. | | | Last edited: by meerupps |

(Not a Big Deal) Sorry, I didn't mean to imply you were doing something wrong, I was just saying that really that's the way you'd expect it to work, and it's a pity that it doesn't. |

I was FINE financially until the Birth of my TWO Handicapped Children. No need to get upset with me--it wasn't my intention to give you a hard time, it's just that your post seemed to contain a non sequitur that I thought I'd note. Obviously it wasn't a good idea. --------------- |

I don't get mad or upset at anyone.
I just thought I made it pretty clear right at the beginning of my post is all.
My Quote of 5,000 looks erroneous right now, but remember, I am only in the B's alphabetically. What is listed beyond the B's are my Blu-rays which are just about finished. |
