| Posted: | | | | Is there a way to show the changes I have made to a profile, before uploading it? After I have done some changes the contribute icon shows up. But if I dont update at that moment, I might have forgotten what I changed the first time (without uploading). I tend to browse around my collection and make very minor changes that are incorrect on profiles I have bigger plans for. Is there a list of sort that shows me this? If not. I would like to add that feature request to the next release of DVD Profiler. |

| Posted: | | | | The short answer is no. But what you could do though is compare your local profile against the online profile by selecting from the Menu: Online>Refresh DVD from Invelos>Preview Changes. That will at least tell you the differences between your local and online. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

I am embarrassed to admit I never even thought of this. I usually just made a TXT File to save what I have done... but not anymore thanks! | | | Pete |

No. I just do it the lazy way: Contribute, look at the contribution page and then hit Cancel cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Online>Refresh DVD from Invelos>Preview Changes
"Existing DVD Profile/Image" = your local database
"New DVD Profile/Image" = the online database. | | | Hal |

"New DVD Profile/Image" = the online database. That is indeed an option. However, the reason I don't is because any covers I scan are higher than the max allowed for submissions (100 dpi). I use the contribution screen as this will show the downscaled version. |

I do the same. Add me to this list as well. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Actually, I've never thought of it before, but that's a really good idea. In the past I've made changes to a profile before, but by the time I've come to submit I've completely forgotten where the info came from or why I made some changes. To have the ability to make contribution notes as I go, which are then submitted with the profile, would be fantastic! |

| Posted: | | | | Keep keep track of profiles you've made changes to you can also flag them and then save the flag set.
I did this while we were waiting for the official release of 3.5; as I was working with the Beta and had over a hundred profiles to contribute. The only way to keep track was with flags.
The use of the Notes section is an excellent idea btw. |
