| Posted: | | | | Hi, is it possible to make an alternate Version from DVD Profiler to change the owned, ordered and wishlist completly to Blu-Ray, HD-DVD and DVD with all the features from the "owned" field, mean numbers etc. and own icons, not the house or heart symbol, complete logos from the format itself? This would be really nice, cause i have now over 55 BD's, 70 hd-dvd's and somewhat over 800 DVD's and all in one is a little bit confusing. Maybe i can make it on my own if someone explain me how Thanks in advance |

| Posted: | | | | Or... As has been asked for in the Reporting Forums...
A report with Title and Media Columns.
This way you can alphabetize your/our catalogs by Media-and-Title or by Title only, but revealing if it's a BD, HDD, DVD.
Media (DVD, HDD, BD) seems to be the one obvious (but overlooked) snap-to we can all use to filter/sort our collections most efficiently.
Thanks Much! Matt |

Thanks in advance This is not currently possible. However, many people have requested this (myself included) so hopefully it will be implemented soon/eventually. |

| Posted: | | | | You can do something similar today by creating fake parent profiles. As you can see in this image, I have a profile for HD and under that profiles for HD DVD and Blu-ray. Then I put all my HD DVDs and Blu-ray in the proper parent profile. It's not perfect, but it gets the job done. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Thanks in advance Add DVD> de-select "DownLoad from Invelos" Create a Profile (manual profile) which once created gets added to your local DB (for an example we'll call it "Blu-Ray") now in your collection listings you will have a title called "Blu-Ray" select this title> Edit this title goto the Box Set Contents section in the Edit window you will now see a window with all your titles on the left hand side of this window an empty space on the right hand side. Select a "Blu-Ray DVD from the left hand side click on "Assign" the title will appear in the right hand side (add as many blu-ray's as you wish) then click "OK" you newly created "Blu-Ray title now has assigned to it all your Blu-ray titles thus keeping them altogether under one "Fake Parent Profile" (If other groups are required just add more manual (fake) profiles. | Posted: | | | | @snarbo Thanks dude, but i don't understand your first statement. If i click on "add DVD" and de-select "DownLoad from Invelos"...what now? I don't find there a "create profile"....must i exit or what should i do? If i go to options and create a new user named "blu-ray" i don't found it in the collection list, so i think thats wrong. Can you explain more "noob" like please and tell me where to click exactly Thanks in advance friend Reno | | | Last edited: by Reno Raines |

Thanks in advance friend Reno "Add DVD" - find under the top line menu (text) DVD 1st item in list or "Add DVD" - icon - 1st row of icons at top of screen third icon (DVD with a green +) or "Add DVD" - Crtl = Insert this will bring up the "Add DVD" window this new window has four tabs "Add By UPC(EAN)" ; "Add By Title" ; "Add Inserted Disc" ; "Upcoming Releases" near the bottom left hand side of this window is two check boxes "Download profile from Invelos" & "Prompt for Personalisation" When you de-select the "Download from Invelos" the screen changes slightly in the above window in that you are now required to enter a title for your "New" DVD, hence create a Manual profile. | Posted: | | | | So, did you simply change the translation strings to say what you want? If so, how do you get around the issue of the DVD tab still actually being and acting like the Wishlist (no collection numbers, wishlist priority, etc.)? | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Although if I'm wrong and he has I'd like to know too |

Collection Numbers work in all 3 lists, look at the picThe trick is, that you pick your dvd, then add dvd > click ok and than edit it on the right side before you add it finally to your collection. But if you forget something and want this details as collection number, price, buy location etc change later it doesn't work anymore, you can after that only change the wishlist stuff. Its better as nothing but its only usefull to people like me that catalogize the complete collection once again totally new..... |

| Posted: | | | | Well, I'm glad you found a solution that works for you. It would drive me nuts, but that's just me. I've considered getting rid of my HD folder and at the top level just having DVD, HD DVD, Blu-ray and TV. But that's a lot of work for little gain. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

Yeah, thanks dude, but its only a solution over a short period of time, i hope invelos build this into a new version, maybe 4.0 with free to choose rows so that we can put our movies also into more as 3 tabs if we want, with free to choose pics for the rows. That would be really nice.... |
