| Posted: | | | | This request was made by a new user in a different section, so I though I'd bring it down here where it belongs.
Highlighting loaned DVDs like the new releases are.
While I rarely loan out any of my DVDs, I can see where this feature would be useful to people who do. | | | Kevin |

| Posted: | | | | Don't loan out my DVDs. Don't understand people that loan out theirs. So would not use this feature. Will not, however, vote 'no'. Thanks for the 'other' option. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Maybe light blue highlighting for Blu-rays, light red for HD-DVD, <DUCK>silver for CDs</DUCK> | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

Ouch! Why does anyone feel the need to write a remark like this every time the "loaning" topic comes up? Some people have another philosophy about it, the program supports the general idea of loaning DVDs, so I see no reason for snide remarks. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | It's a good ideac- since I may only loan out 1 or 2 dvds having the highlighting is even more useful.
It should be straightforward since we already have highlighting for a different condition. (recent releases) | | | Paul |

Maybe light blue highlighting for Blu-rays, light red for HD-DVD, <DUCK>silver for CDs</DUCK> another excellent suggestion - it would mean I wouldn't need to add text 'blu ray' to the edition field for all my blu rays so I could distinguish them in the list. These could be enabled / disabled in the program so those who didn't want to use it, wouldn't have to use it. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | One already has the ability to add the column "Loaned To" to the Collection View window which is also sortable. How would highlighting it make it that much better? Adding too many colors will probably just end up confusing some users without a legend that reminds them what all the pretty colors mean . We already have users that ask what the green highlighting is for and how to turn it off. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure how much use I'd get out of this since I rarely loan. But I'll give it a yes vote because I think it's a cool idea. Although I'd suggest having it off by default so we aren't bombarded with even more questions about why some lines are highlighted. I also like the idea of highlighting HD DVD and Blu-ray. But I'm not sure I'd use it. I already have a better option in my signature. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |
