| Posted: | | | | I'd like to see it list when the backup was done in the backup window so I can determine if I should do it again. Having it show that info in the restore section is nice but I think adding it to the backup section would be helpful as well. |

If you name your backups based on the day, today's would be 060809, then you will be able to quickly see your last backup date. The system remembers the last name of your backup. As soon as you bring up backup then the date of the last back is there for you.
This might be a nice work around for your request. |

This might be a nice work around for your request. With my large collection, your method would result in a lot of large files on my HD, which I would have to delete periodically to prevent the HD from filling up. I'd still like to see the create date for the backup file even if I followed your method. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. | Posted: | | | | If you backup to the default C:\ (or wherever), you can view it in Windows Explorer to see when the backup was made. If you create another backup using the same name as an existing file, the program will prompt you if you wish to preserve a copy of the existing file. If you respond with yes, the previous backup file is, well, backed up and the new backup created.
This uses at most two files on your system. |

This uses at most two files on your system. Which is how I currently do it. It would be nice, though, to see the date in Profiler without having to go to WE to find it. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. | Posted: | | | | If you look on Welcome Page, top right corner, the program shows the last backup and even calculates the number of days past. | | | Hans |

| Posted: | | | | That makes me wonder how many people disable the Welcome page from being displayed at start up? I do. |

| Posted: | | | | I do, but I manually open the page occasionally for two reasons; (1) checking on my latest backup, and (2) checking the upcoming wish list. | | | Hans |
