| Posted: | | | | I know that this is wanted, but don't recall it specifically being asked for and can't see it in the collected feature request thread, so here goes.
Can we change the way that headshots are stored so that they can be found in their own folder (like covers)? It would make managing them SOOO much easier.

Don't understand? Maybe DVDProfilerWiki.org does! |

| Posted: | | | | It would be handy, if we could have the database do automatic linking of the images to the cast db, providing the correct name convention is used for images in the folder.

+1 Since headshots are a strictly local issue and have nothing to do with either Invelos or the Online, and SHOULD NOT, then this is unlikely. The separate folder concept is good, but not this linking thing, that has nothing to do with the Online or the Program. You create your OWN headshot database and the linking is therefore completely in your hands. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

This is already implemented: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=287443&messageID=845200#M845200 pet42 is correct. I just tried it by creating a picture of J.K Rowling, saving it in the "C:\Documents and Settings\user name\My Documents\DVD Profiler\CreditPhotos" folder, as 'Rowling_J.K._.jpg' and it showed up automatically under her name. I did the same with 'Radcliffe_Daniel_.jpg' and it worked as well. Removing the image from the directory, or changing the name, removes it from Profiler. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. Skip Skip, Either I misexplained myself, or you misread what I was talking about. I wanted the folder to link to my LOCAL cast and crew database, not the online. Besides the online doesn't store these images, so there is nothing to link. But as pet42 already explained, it's already implemented. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

IO don't think so what I specifically keyed on was description of providing the correct name, which had me scratching my head saying, if this is a totally local issue then where is this name issue comes from, but I think based on what Unicus described I see it, the program follows its own protocol.

| Posted: | | | | what would be nice is a way to extract images that are stored in the database out into the folder structure.
this would allow people that have big cast\crew image collections from before this was implemented to switch over to the folder structure.
