I agree these would be interesting ... especially censorship questions, would be interesting ... but as a user-built database, I'm not sure they would be very feasible.

What you ask is quite similar to the way "Easter eggs" are implemented. So, it shouldn't be difficult to implement, provided there is enough support for the requested feature.

Note that database entries are per locality, so one would only need to submit defects/errors/censorship pertaining to that locality. I think the rules should be updated to be clear what is the reference to measure against and what constitutes censorship.

For instance, there are some director cuts out there shorter than the "original", so IMO censorship must apply to government mandated cases only.
Also, for the USA, there tend to be unrated versions on DVD because the censorship for movie cinemas can be "ignored". IMO, we shouldn't document such cases.
Also, the PAL speedup (against NTSC) shouldn't be confused with any cuts made or not made.

That said, I'm all for your proposal.

I am aware that the implementation of these features would mean a certain amount of extra effort (on behalf of the community). However viewed from a bigger perspective I truly believe that this information can be just as important as to what kind of features, region and PAL/NTSC-format are linked to a release. Because these glitches and cuts are just as much present on the disc as the other mentioned information. Next to that these are the things that are usually not known by looking at a cover and thus serve an additional piece of information.

I know this could be considered pandora's box but it is merely to give the most complete overview of a product in all it's facets. I do consider that these functions would probably be not up-to-date, however this does not have to be the primary function. I would be happy enough to be informed (sooner or later) on these matters to merely take this information into account.

Next to that the different options to describe the cut/version of the release doesn't have to be that unclear. Most of the versions are equal. And except for a small amount of releases it would actually be quite simple to divide the other versions. Largely it would be: original cuts and some extended cuts, director's cuts and unrated cuts (original cut is to be linked to the country which produced the original movie/tv-series/etc, otherwise it can be considered as an international cut). Seamless branching or multiple versions can be incorporated by checking a box. And in these primary categories there could be room for notes to inform about matters of further specific censorship (for example the infamous headbutts on UK-releases). The movie releases in most of the cases can be considered as a original/theatrical cut (or otherwise for example their especially labeled and marketed counterpart directors cut). And if at a certain time information on censorship to these versions is known, this can be added/corrected (in an additional specific area next to the according cut) as to enable people to possibly exchange their product (if possible) or buy another version. The difficulties in pinpointing and determining exact details of the release I would take for granted considering this wealthy piece of information in dvd-profiler. 

Additionally i know that this information can be obtained on third-party sites, however when I have already purchased a product this most likely will not be checked again. Next to that the information is scattered and based upon specific reviews. The topics on forums are indeed very recent, however they will mostly be dropped in their overview and be "forgotten" in time. DVD-profiler on the other hand is very personal and thus can be exact and complete in supplying this important type of information. In this case it would be reassuring to know what issues (censorship or glitches) are present in my release when I update my profile. To consider what is present on other sites can be useful, however in my opinion this should not be made into a factor to exclude authentic information relating to the dvd/hd-dvd/blu-ray in a profile.

I also think that this feature would be very useful when we have to choose between several editions of the same movie. For regions where pingponging is the nightmare of some users, the best would be to change the voting system and penalize non interesting contributions.
