For me it is always interesting to take a look when I watched which movie for the last time. But with the endless box sets in my collection, there is always some work more: When I watched a part of the box, I would appreciate that the same date is also entered for the box set automatically (maybe with an asking window?)

If I forget the box set (and I did it quite often), my collection tells me, that I have never watched this or that box set, altough I have seen all of it's components. Is there any chance to include this feature?

I wouldn't mind this as long as it is an option that can be turned off. As I see it a little differently. The parent profile (boxset) is for nothing more then the slipcase. That is something I don't "watch". So I don't want a watched date on the parent profile at all. I want to track what I actually watch... which would be the discs or the child profiles.

And I do it a little differently too.  I consider the set watched after all the films in the set are watched.  The date isn't really a big deal.  I just like to not have them show up when I filter for unwatched stuff.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.

This is how I do it as well.  Once I have watched the last disc in the set, I set the box set watched date to that date.

My approach is that I set all my "unwatchable profiles" like a box set to a watched date long before I bought my first DVD (in my case 1/1/2000). I do this right after I added the profile to the collection.

This way I can filter them out and ignore them in any statistics.
