| Posted: | | | | Right now we can tag cast as uncredited or voice only, but we don't have a credit-only option. This is like the opposite of uncredited, where someone is credited, but doesn't actually appear in the work. This sometimes happens with people whose scenes got cut (though it may be better to have a scenes-deleted tag for them) and frequently happens in TV shows where some members of the regular cast aren't in every episode. For instance, Nicholas Brendon and Emma Caufield aren't Buffy Season 7 episode "Conversations with Dead People," despite being in the opening credits like any other episode that season. This happens all the time with Smallville and Babylon 5. |

There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

I think Ace is right in regards to this happen more frequently on TV Shows rather than movies but with the former it's not that unusual. Another TV Show example would be the third season of Chuck where Captain Awesome, Ellie or Morgan are only seen every second episode due to budget cuts. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

I'm aware of at least one DVD-Box where I could use this. It's full of hoax-credits like Robert de Niro, Flipper, etc. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! Just as it's exceedingly difficult currently to remove undocumented uncredited out of a profile, it would be very difficult to add credited but absent, unless it's a local only option. --------------- |
