| Posted: | | | | I would like to be able to add any country to the CoO. It shouldn't be difficult to find a list.
Also, I would love the ability to list multiple CoO's. |

| Posted: | | | | IMO, America should be the only CoO since that's where all the good movies come from, anyway. That's my feature request. OMG KIDDING. Wasn't there a discussion about LotR and CoO a while back? Would this have squashed it? Or was that something different. | | | Reviewer, HorrorTalk.com

Lets take Taiwan for example. While most of the world conisders this to be a country, China thinks of it as a renegade province. The question is, what is a country, and who decides this?? Probably the better way, instead of a pull-down-menu would be, to type in the CoO manually. All else might easily jam the capabilities of a single programmer, especially if you take into consideration that every day there seem to arise new countries from the region that was formerly known as "Soviet Union". | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Yeah, but then you get Englad, England, Ingland, Englannd, etc. Hardly a desirable feature! | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. | Posted: | | | | I also like the idea of typing in the CoO. Spelling errors are usually caught and easily corrected. |

This. It wouldnt be nice to have Yhdysvallat as a CoO and on another profile the same country listed with some silly acronym like USA | | | Last edited: by whispering |

"Country" is not only a term for sovereign states and/or governments but is also a geographical term. So, I don't see what prevents us to include Taiwan (and other states with limited recognition). Collecting DVDs neither depends on nor shapes global politics, right? What about using the IMDb list (at least as a basis) – unless, of course, it's copyrighted Quoting goblinsdoitall: Quote: Probably the better way, instead of a pull-down-menu would be, to type in the CoO manually. As Mark and Patrik already pointed out, I also believe that it would lead to a mess... I'd even prefer a CoO field with no data than one filled with nonsense. | | | 1.0.1, iPhone 3GS, iOS 4.1.0
