| Posted: | | | | I have been thinking about that too and I believe there are two ways to go about this:
1. Consider Blu-ray 3D as a new 'format': We create a new media type, clear BD 3D banners (to mirror the cases). Advantage is that this clearly distinguishes them from non-3D releaes
2. Consider 3D as a feature or edition: We don't create a new media type (as the hard media is still Blu-ray discs), encode them as regular Blu-rays and add "3D version" as a Feature or in the Edition field.
Personally, I'm not sure which is best but I am in favor of doing something to taking some decision so that all BD 3D titles can be tracked uniformly. | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |
