I got quite a lot of movies that have been released on dvd on vhs. It would be cool to have an option to also add vhs. I tried searching the forums but no results came up; Does honestly nobody wants this?

When you right-click on a collection tab like "Owned" you can add new collection types under "Other".

But be aware that you can't contribute any VHS profiler. Only Video DVD, Blu-ray and HD-DVD are allowed.

You can add them now. They just aren't in the DB. Go to options and add an additional media type.

Every time in the past this came up... no there was no love for VHS. It is after all a dead format. But you can still track VHS with DVD Profiler... you just have to keep it local. You can even make a media type for VHS...Though I am not to familiar on how to do it (Never done it myself)... but sure someone here can tell you how.

Furthermore, if the VHS movies you have are on DVD, you could download the DVD profile and you would have a great starting point to customize if you desired.  Just DON'T CONTRIBUTE any changes you make or you'll be strung up by some of our more... anal members. Of course if a DVD profile is adequate for your needs, then it doesn't matter. Just don't do something like remove special features or additional audio tracks and attempt to recontribute.
