Can we add a 2nd ratings field with the current SRP? (And maybe a third one that keeps track of what this field said at the time you purchased it.) While it certainly makes me feel clever to buy a $40 DVD for $7, it's silly if the current SRP is $10.

Why?  What's silly about paying $7 for a $10 DVD?

It's silly to think I got an amazing bargain by doing so, but the DVD Profile charts will tell me I did.

In my eyes it is simpler just to change the SRP locally to what it was when you bought it and lock it.

This isn't anything I would use and honestly don't see a use for.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Personally I am misusing the SRP field to track the purchace price in a foreign currency while the purchace price is always in €.

I never really cared for SRP maybe because it's not that big of a concept in Germany (at least not for DVDs).

As me. I write the info in my profile because there are a field for this, but I care for the price I pay not an imaginary price that isn't charged anywhere. I know it isn't but no one use it as a selling price, not even the labels I purchase directly from...
