| Posted: | | | | With 3.8 hopefully released soon, there is one more thing I'd like to add to its development. It's been a long, long time since we've had an update to Profile/Image Comparison page to determine what changes are in the update. For example, the rating indicator could be on to single a change to a NR title, but it doesn't list if it is to change to or from Television. We also can't choose whether to accept an update to the studios or media companies without taking the change to the other field.
It would be nice to see the actual changes in the overview (highlighted) or only reveal the fields that have changes. I know there was a plugin a couple of years ago that this, before the developer turned it into a paid plug-in (then stopped selling it at all, so you can't get it even if you wanted it), but this is really something that should be done in program.
ETA: Another element that would be greatly appreciated is the ability to flag all titles that have updates, so you can go through and edit the profiles where you like some of a change, but not all of it. Or even the ability to edit your own profile while in the Profile Comparison screen. | | | Last edited: by synnerman |

I agree. Ken should just copy all the features from Goodguy's excelent Profile Comparison Plus plugin since it's very close to perfect, but unfortunately not available any more. |

When 3.8 comes out, it will propably break again. So far Goodguy has been so kind that he has released a new compatible version for his paying customers, but there's no guarantee that he will do that in future. I really hope so. |

Not sure Matthias would be happy to see Ken using his works to do money without any compensation... Even if this is a plugin the creator is the owner of his creation. |

I took Kulju to mean that Ken should add the same features that Goodguy's plug-in accomplished, not steal the actual code. |

That would be a great addition to DVDP! | | | Certainty of death... Small chance of success... What are we waiting for ?! |

| Posted: | | | | Yeah, I missed getting that plug-in while I had the chance. Still, I'd much prefer to see it built into the program. Even if Matthias did a 180 and started offering it again. It's just the logical spot for that functionality. | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

| Posted: | | | | This has probably been requested a dozen times . . . . . . . . . . . . but there is a very good reason it has been requested that often! We would love to see it +1 | | | If at first you don't succeed, skydiving isn't for you.
