| Posted: | | | | I want to use numbers and letters in the "collection number". It will not except anything but numbers. Is there a way to enter "example" 1A or 2B?
I have used DVD Profiiler for years but never tried to enter anything but numbers. I created a second database and had a need to add Alphanumeric to the collection number.
Can this be done?

As far as I know: No Quote: I created a second database and had a need to add Alphanumeric to the collection number. You could look at the personal information (Ctrl&p) and use "Location" or "Slot" for that (if not already used for something else), both can hold alphanumerics. Or have a look at Collection Categories, with them you might not need alphas in the collection number but simply have another set for the Category. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

Kind of a pain, but it could work. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. |
