| Posted: | | | | For when an actor appears in the standard opening credits of a show, but doesn't appear in every episode. For the episodes where they do not appear, but are still credited, a (Credit Only) option would be nice. Similar to (Uncredited) but in reverse. | | | Last edited: by GreyHulk |

| Posted: | | | | Ok. I guess I'll be in a minority here, but it seems to me that this situation is rather similar to something that is in the rules: Do not list actors and crew who appear only in special features, or whose scenes were deleted from the main feature, even if they appear in special features. If we don't list actors whos scenes were deleted, why would we list actors who weren't there at all...? | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Personally I think that that part of the rules is saying something along the lines of "If actors appear in deleted scenes that are in special features do not list them as a cast member". I think that the key word here is Deleted, as in that they did appear in scenes that were filmed but later deleted from the film. Whereas the Credit Only thing is about cast who is credited in all (or most) episodes opening credits but for a few episodes they actually don't appear in any scenes. I would guess that the episode simply didn't need them or the actor wasn't available to shoot scenes so they worked around their unavailability. | | | Last edited: by CubbyUps |

That rule is saying not to add people who appear in deleted scenes/special features who are not credited in the main feature. The proposal is a way to flag people who are credited in the main feature, but don't appear for whatever reason. Maybe their scenes were deleted or they are a part of the regular cast, but weren't in this week's episode. |

It just says not to list actors whose scenes were deleted. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |
