First I would like to thank you for this great program and for the latest update which is very smooth. I'm a daily user of DVDpro and have some wishes that would like if could be implemented in the future.

First. I see lots of concentration and importance is given to the movie profiles while ignoring the stars themselves. I know this is a DVD collection program but again we need to have more enhancements when it is related to the actors. Here are few suggestions:

1- Actor Profile: I wish if we could get the actor profile somewhere. perhaps a small button when we click on the picture of the actor, An editable window like the notes appear where we can write, paste any information or notes about the actor. Here is a pic to explain what I'm saying.

In the same window I wish if there were two more sorting orders for the actor profile. One to be by user review and another one to be by watch date (provided it is a single watching person). I feel these two are very important when you want to see a movie for a specific actor.



2- Badges: These will be like customizable badges that we can add on each thumbnail of DVD profiles. They can be numbers, Percentages, or custom icon pictures (something similar to the icon which represents the number of days left until the DVD is released that we have currently).

See the illustrated picture that I have provided below for the movie (Doubt) where I added two badges (custom icons) one which is RT rating and the other is Oscar Nominations.

I can see there is a chance to add two badges to each profile one on the upper right corner and the second on the lower left one.

Actually the availability of such an icon would be good for so many things like:
1- Adding award badges (Like the one in the pic I added)
2- Adding RT ratings or any other ratings, or self ratings (You dont need to click on the profile to see the ratings).
3- Adding numbers that may represent your actual shelves where the movie is placed
4- Adding main genres icons
5- adding the year of production
and so on, There will be hundreds of icons made by the community and many uses of this feature once it is implemented.





These are the main two things I would love to see in future updates. Please guys let me know what do you think of such requests.

Addicted2DVD: About the actor profile I agree. My wish is just a note like window where the user can write or paste any info he would like and I don't see any use of this to go online. It should be just a local editable window. Or in case it is online it can be from wikipedia but I personally prefer a local note window

I agree with Kulju that this is a feature I would never use.

And why would you suggest something like wikipedia? 

It is like a TV show I watched last night.... A character asked what is an encyclopedia?  The other character said it is like wikipedia but with facts.
