I know this may be a bit of an odd request, but the reason we are all here is that we are a bit odd. This program rests its laurels on being customizable... so here it goes.

I want to be able to only lock the front or back cover... I also want to only paste front or back covers from a source into one or many profiles.

This never came up for me before, but after buying Bond 50 and the contribution DEBACLE that thing is... I made the choice that locally in my collection box sets of multiple movies shall all have different cover art from the parent for aesthetics... however some need only front copied from another profile, others need back only copied, and sometimes front from one source, and back from another...

hope that makes sense!

I thought it was possible to copy/past only the front or back only. In display mode right click over the required cover and select copy.

I've done this to copy a single cover to an edit program.

Is this what you meant?

Yeah... they copy and paste already works that way. Though the separate locks would be nice.

am I missing something?

I don't see separate front and back covers in the copy and paste function...

EDIT: Ok i read through better... never knew you could copy and paste in display mode. that will certainly make this go faster for me... however i'll stand by my original request that front/back should be separated in the above screenshot to that i can flag -> paste.

I see what you mean now... and I can agree with you.

It would have helped if you mentioned where (that particular screen) you were talking about.

two posts in a week no less... and good posts... one settling a contribution dispute (thankfully common sense won) and an acknowledgement that ios 2 and andriod 1 are well into development...

now we need a windows 8 style app for windows tablets and phones, and for those who want to be cool cats with regular windows 8

I agree.  They are separate in the update comparison screen...you can choose to accept one but not the other...so they should be here as well.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
