| Posted: | | | | I would like to be able to filter by case type. I have come up with 3 valid uses for such a filter, of which I need all 3, but there could be others.
1) A collector is looking to eliminate the terrible and discontinued "Snapper" cases from his collection, being able to filter for them is crucial.
2) A collector is specifically collecting steel books as part of his collection and would like to just view those
3) A collector is moving, remodeling, etc etc and would like to estimate how many shelf feet he needs to hold his current collection. Knowing how many keep cases, vs how many hd slims would make a big difference in calculating the shelf feet needed for a large collection. | | | -JoN |

I was surprised that you can't filter case type when I went to use it a while ago.
I used to loathe snappers, but they don't bother me as much anymore. At one point I ahd them separated out and all together and they actually look decent that way. But I do have a few that I bought used online that have seen better days. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

cya, Mithi I am aware that database query could do this, however i would prefer it in the native application for many reasons, but primarily because it seems the database query plugin is heading down the abandoned road.. Mark seems to have a lot going on and doesn't seem to have the time to update it to the new program, and while it still works now, it wont forever. His last post in relation to it was 3 months ago. | | | -JoN |

| Posted: | | | | I agree being able to filter by case type would make it simple to find digibooks, and steelbooks in your collection |
