First of all a note of caution: DVD Profiler is intended for personal use, not commercial. So when you say you're a library manager, I hope your saying you build a small collection of books and DVDs for your group and just want to keep it in order.

You can create a second database via File -> Open Database -> New Database. There you can eitehr copy the current database or create an empty one.

Via the same menu you can then switches between those two databases.

However, what you cannot do, is upload both to the internet. At least not onto Invelos' server, because there you can have only one collection.

Well, "personal use" doesn't equate to "group". Whether your intended use is in line with Invelos's intentions, I guess you'd ask the company better directly via a support ticket ("contact us" at the bottom of the screen).
Please note, a disability group does not necessarily exclude commercial usage, commercial as in used in a business environment. So you might want to detail that part to Invelos.

But whatever the legal intentions and limitations, be aware that the program is structured around a personal usage. You can have your database placed on multiple machines and access it on each; synchronizing all content is your problem. You can have your database on a server and access from many machines, also fine.

If more than one person is accessing a database on a server, well, I do not know whether it can withstand that, for instance concurrent edits (like registering a loan) in the database. My guess is just browsing is fine but editing may be tricky. Unless there is only one administrator in that group that does any editing.

Assuming such group usage is allowed by Invelos, I'd say you best make two registered (as in: paid) users: one being your personal self, one being that group.

If it is important, say it. Otherwise, let silence speak.
