To check your device's version of Android, visit the Settings app. Look for 'About device' or similar.

*EDIT* Please note that this is not a list of supported OS versions. We will announce requirements soon, but I can say that it is very unlikely that pre-Froyo will be supported with 1.0.

For those of us with more than one device (most of us?), should we post the earliest or latest OS?

Edit: Ok, I voted 4.1 +

My phone: DroidX - 2.3.4, My tablet Asus Infinity - 4.2.1
Wife's phone and tablet: Droid 4 and Xoom - both 4.1.2

we also have a Nook, not used much any more, but it might make an ideal "Profiler appliance" - used for almost nothing else. Just sits in the media room for anybody to use.
Thanks for your support.

I'd say select the one you're going to use most frequently, and post a note with both.

Wow that's a much stronger spread to Jelly Bean than expected.  I would guess we're seeing some selection bias towards frequent forum visitors, but still.

Not an option to select multiple, but I have voted 4.1 for my tablet and will be wanting to use it on:

Galaxy Note 1 - 4.0.x (Ice Cream Sandwich)
Nexus 7 (32gb) -  4.1 + (Jelly Bean)
