| | Posted: | | | | I have gotten to the point that I am sick of doing cast/crew entry because of this one... The "Lock All Changes" is troublesome as it is now...  While doing credits... I have to switch between the PowerDVD and DVD profiler. With PowerDVD in a smaller screen on top of profiler...I click on the DVD Profiler and I am always hitting anywhere near that check box... making the box check and locking all fields I changed without wanting to. I found if you click anywhere in the left side third of the bar it checks the box... so anywhere even fairly close to it activates the check box. So I am accidentally hitting it all the time as I just can't keep it in my mind while doing the credit updates. I see 2 solutions to this... 1. Move the check box 2. Make it so you have to click the actual check box itself instead of just close to it. I would be thrilled with either solution. | | | | Pete | | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

Seems to me that this "problem" is mainly based on the way you've chosen to work with DVDProfiler.
Two possible solutions without need for program change:
1) Set PowerDVD as "Always on Top" and use a "Side-By-Side" Split-Screen of Profile Editor (NOT the Main-Program) and PowerDVD
2) The more expensive (but by far more satisfying) method: A Dual-Monitor setup with Power DVD and DVDProfiler running Full-Screen on separate screens. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

| | Posted: | | | | Not everyone knows about or even likes to use keyboard shortcuts. I know it is one I never heard of before... and I am much more a mouse person... I find keyboard shortcuts and such very cumbersome to use... and could never keep in my mind what the key combos are.
I personally don't know what is wrong with this feature request... I honestly don't see how either of the solutions I mentioned would hinder anyone in any way. | | | | Pete |

If you don't believe it ask the Support-Hotline of Microsoft what happened after they changed the old-fashioned menu structure of MS-Office to the Tabs they had until Office 2010. So the question that is better asked is: How would this request improve things? In fact this "Close-By"-activation of flags is s a Feature, not a bug. It helps those people with imprecise pointing devices (e.g. Touchpad on Laptops). I won't keep trying to sell you on Alt-Tab. But I did want to point out that you kinda missed the point. If you push Alt-Tab and hold, you do get a popup and can keep pressing tab (while holding Alt) to cycle through them. But when you're just working with 2 windows, or just keep going back-and-forth between 2 windows like you are, just Alt-Tab, release. It will pop the previous window back up and the popup you're complaining about goes away. Like Tweeter, I use it constantly. Dozens upon dozens of times per day. Per hour sometimes.
