Need more audio track choices

So many dvd are released in 2.0 mono, besides 1.0 mono, also we now have a few titles out with 2.1 mono such as Earthquake, Battlestar Galactica, and Midway.

Both 1.0 and 2.0 mono are entered as Mono. Why would we need two options? Mono is still mono whether it's split into two identical channels.

Is 2.1 mono with a discreet LFE channel? I've never seen those before, didn't know the standard supported it. It might be worth adding if it becomes common enough.
