When are you going to catch up with the world and create a Mac version of this wonderful program?

Probably never going to happen. MacOS has been and probably always will be a minority user group.

This program is basically a one-man operation and he already went out of his way to cater to the mobile owners of both iOS and Android camp.

Having an Apple product has become "cool" since the iPod. Having a Mac? Not so much.

This has been asked so often (Not only for OS-X but for any remotely relevant Operating System), that I can't stop asking myself:
When are you going to catch up with reality and accept that we are customers of a One-Man-Company and that even this man's day only has 24 hrs.?

Even worse: The market share of all Mac Desktop-OS (in Europe) is far below 10% (~ 7%) for OS-X 10.8 we are talking of a market share of app. 2% (Source). Putting hundreds of working hours into a project for a very limited number of potential customers can (and must) be considered to be commercial suicide.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

By the numbers "catching up with the world" would be releasing Windows Store App version of DVDP.

I don't wish to see that happen in near future though. My wishes are that Ken will fix most of the problems with the main software first. See Collected Feature Requests thread. Last few releases have been almost completely adding support for new platforms and the main program hasn't gone (almost) anywhere in years, beside small fixes here and there.

That, and an update of the online collection feature (remember DOP Plus, anyone?).
