It's kind of monotonous to have to re-add the purchase place/price/date, tags, exclusions, etc for EVERY Child Profile added for each Parent Profile.
A checkbox that says ""Use Same As Parent" would save time when adding these to one's collection.
Thanks! |

| Posted: | | | | Would be nice for purchase date/place but not the rest. My tags seldom match child to child.
Child profile prices, for me, are almost always $0.00 becAuse to inherit would mean I paid $59.99 for the set and $59.99 for each child. This would skew some of the reporting statistics. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

Thanks! You can do this: 1) Select the parent profile Select DVD -> Copy Flag the child profiles with the space bar Select Collection -> Flagged -> Paste and there you paste everything you wish to propagate to the children 2) You install the "Initialize TV Show Child Profiles" profiles from the plugins sectionYou select DVD -> Initialize TV Show Child Profiles There you can select which fields you wish to propagate The plugin will remember your selection for the next time | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | I pretty much keep all personal info like that blank in child profiles. Got it in the parent... don't need or want any of it repeated in the child profiles as well. | | | Pete |

However I would like the currency to match the parent profile. Right now DVDP automatically sets the default currency (euro, in my case), even with box sets I bought in the US. And yes, then it's annoying to have to correct the child profiles to make them match the parent. |

Unless it is a boxset of individual releases, then I assign the value to the individual profiles in case I trade or sell some of them off. | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |
