It is possible to store cast/crew photos outside the actual database. You can store them in the folder you have defined in Tools -> Options -> File Folders. However, to the average user it is unclear how the file should actually be named to be properly displayed in DVDP. Also, if you wish to store cast/crew images specific to that movie.
