Hi, I recently installed DVD Profiler on my new PC and I transferred my collection from my notebook. Anyhow the search collection tab is missing and I cannot figure out how to insert it. Please help! thanks

Right-click in the toolbar area and make sure Filters is checked.

That works, thanks a lot!
Is it my imagination or is my desktop DVD Profiler different than the one on my older Windows 7 laptop?  The search feature seems to be quite a bit more advanced on my desktop and DVDs get sorted automatically after adding them to my collection. On my laptop I have to reassign all collection numbers by title to put my recently added titles in order.

My main rig has been a Mac for the last 7 years or so and after it recently failed I decided to go back to Windows and so I purchased a newer Windows 10 desktop and man does it whip my old Mac! I will never go back to Mac!     Kinda funny because I have always believed it was the other way around.... "Get on a Mac and you'll never go back".

Anyhow its nice to have DVD Profiler on my main rig for a change.

Ok, I'm not trying to start a Mac vs. PC thing.  I honestly don't care what people use.

However, are you seriously comparing a 7 year old Mac to a brand new Windows machine and coming to the conclusion that Windows is better based off that comparison?

Sorry but I am not sure what you are getting at, please explain. BTW I was running the latest OSX on my Mac, in fact it failed almost immediately following the installation of El Capitan which is the lastest OSX. Has technology really come that far in just ~7 years?

Hmm...  I'm honestly now sure where to start.  But yes, technology HAS come that far in 7 years.  Hardware advances in leaps and bounds.  I'd expect the new computer to be AT LEAST 10x-20x faster.  Just because it's new hardware vs something 7 years old.  Those are made-up numbers, but I stand behind them and wouldn't be the least bit shock if I severely underestimated them.  I'd bet my next paycheck I've underestimated.

I'm not really sure how to make it clear to be honest.  It's like comparing a Ford Model A to the latest Chevy and coming to the conclusion that Chevy makes better cars.  Only the difference between those cars probably aren't nearly as pronounced as the differences in computing in the past 7 years.
