| Posted: | | | | Is this possible.
It sounds trivial, but if I was able to click an eject button after setting the DiscID, the disc would be out of the drive by the time I reach over to grab it. This would save me having to wait for the drive to eject after pressing the button on the drive tray. | | | cheers

| Posted: | | | | For the n-th time I realized today that it would be awesome if I could opn/close the DVD drive right from within the program. I would like to have an Eject button too!
My drive is one of those hidden ones which will push-open a "door" when opening. I cannot reach the physical eject button and always going to Windows Explorer to is a bit of a pain. Or anyone know a Windows command I could use like a shortcut...? | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | http://www.grc.com/wizmo/wizmo.htmI haven't used Wizmo itself (on the to do list) but it is free and Gibson's other little freeware tools are small and simple. It looks like you could create a shortcut that would command it to open or close a specific drive. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | While I agree with Addicted2DVD's solution (I'm not a parent but I've done similar; call someone over to take out the disc) I have a real solution. Open the mycomputer folder, right click on the dvd drive, select eject. you can also try this site[edit] and anotherThere must be a way to do it without a 3rd party software...hopefully I can find one. | Posted: | | | | Thanks Agrare, the links you provided seem quite workable already. Of course, If you would somehow manage to incorporate into a functional HTML window I'd be even happier | | | Achim [諾亞信; Ya-Shin//Nuo], a German in Taiwan. Registered: May 29, 2000 (at InterVocative) |

| Posted: | | | | I often have DVDInfoPro open when I'm adding a profile by discID (or adding discID TO a profile) and there's an eject function in DVDInfoPro that I'll use. But I agree that this would be a time-saving feature to be added to DVDP. | | | Another Ken (not Ken Cole) Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges. At the moment i have my DVD drive in my computer which i use 99% of the time but for Blu-ray's i have a external USB drive and have to go into property's to change the drive when adding a Blu-ray disc ID |
